Files
Uploads that survive a bad connection.
Small files travel many at a time. Large files upload in resumable chunks you can pause, resume and retry, so a dropped Wi-Fi connection doesn't cost you the whole upload. Drag in whole folders.

Security and administration

An admin portal for people, storage and the health of the machine it runs on.
Sign-in
CDOTechDev single sign-on through Keycloak. Two-factor codes, device and session management, and alerts on new sign-ins.
Protection
Server-side sessions with CSRF protection, rate limiting and account lockout. Passwords are hashed with Argon2.
Storage safety
Before every upload the server checks the drive is present, writable and has room, so an unplugged USB disk never gets written to.
Backups
Manual or scheduled backups of the database and every file. Unchanged files are hard-linked, so each backup only uses space for what changed.
People and quotas
Users, groups, roles and storage quotas, plus an audit log and a maintenance mode.
